Pacifica Beach Coalition Wins Best Walking Group during 2013 Fog Fest Parade
This year's theme, Surf's Up and the March of the Sharks celebrated the threatened sharks of our ocean and showed pride for a cleaner Pacifica! We want to thank those who enthusiastically marched with us as we swam down Palmetto on Saturday morning greeted by cheering crowds -- we thank the entire community for your continued support including the FFOG committee. The PBC was joined by Sea Stewards, and our collective 2013 efforts have been dedicated to educating to protect the shark. We continued to deliver our message to :Pick It Up Pacifica" to protect marine life by keeping litter out of the ocean and off our beaches and streets during the parade and two-day festival.
