PBC Beach Cleanup Unless otherwise noted, 9 - 11am, 3 Saturdays each month 1st Saturday - Rockaway Beach: Meet at the seawall next to Nicks. 2nd Saturday - Sharp Park: Meet at the start of the levee on Beach Blvd at Clarendon. 3rd Saturday - Linda Mar State Beach: Meet at the south end of the main parking lot just north of Taco Bell. Habitat Restoration  10am - Noon, 4th Sunday each month. Meet at the Pacifica Community Center parking lot, corner of Hwy 1 and Crespi Drive.        After 10am, cross Hwy 1 at the stoplight, go north on the bike path to join the restoration activities. HOPE Services Cleanup - Tuesdays 12-2pm  Summer Clean Beaches Campaign - With the increased use of our beaches over the summer months and the decrease in groups and volunteers available to clean the beaches, it is a real challenge to keep them clean. To meet this challenge, the Pacifica Beach Coalition has partnered with HOPE Services in Half Moon Bay to clean the beaches in Pacifica over the summer months. Through HOPE's Community Based Activity Program, the Pacifica Beach Coalition has hired several young adults to clean 4 beach sites in Pacifica.  This program is designed to give people with a wide range of developmental disabilities the opportunity to participate in community service. Members of the community are invited to join the cleanups as the beaches can use all the help they can get and the young adults of HOPE relish the opportunity to work and socialize with the community at large.
