No More Sail Boat on Seal Cove – Moss Beach

Thank you to Earth Heroes Céline Gerakin Pillar Point site captain, San Mateo County Park Ranger Rob Cala and others who cut and removed this stranded boat. For a week this sailing vessel has been in the mind of the locals and the community helped every single day to secure and dissemble the boat before it could break up and become ocean trash. If you were around Seal Cove by Fitzgerald Marine Reserve on Saturday may 7th around 2:30PM you could have seen a crew of 15 locals going up and down the stairs to bring every single pieces off the beach. What a great team effort! No small feat for a 28″ ship and all of that fishing line! Thank you for saving a bunch of fish, and marine life!

You are Stars of the Sea!
