Habitat Restoration Schedule – 10am to Noon

Be prepared for up to 1 mile of walking uphill on uneven ground, and maybe bring bag to carry hand tools and drinking water.  Because we are never sure of the weather, make sure to bring extra layers, a hat, sunblock, water and snacks.

Please note that the cleanups happening for Earth Day and Coastal Cleanup Day happen off schedule.

About the Habitat Restoration in Linda Mar State Beach in Pacifica:
Site Captain: Michael Ayala, Freidel Cohen and Jeremy
Where to Meet: The closest parking is at the Community Center at the corner of Hwy 1 and Crespi Drive. Walk across Hwy 1 at the light and walk north (turn right) onto the coastal trail. Our team will be waiting for you just off the path by the big Willow stand.
Supplies: Volunteers need to bring their own favorite planting tools, a shovel or hoe, and reusable garden/work gloves.
Focus Area: Volunteers usually remove non-native and invasive plants between the dunes and bike path as well as the hillside below the highway.
